Ganiyu Amuda-Yusuf, PhD, FNIQS, RQS holds PhD degree in quantity surveying from Universiti Teknologi, Johor, Malaysia, MSc. Quantity Surveying (Mechanical & Electrical) from University of Salford, UK and BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He is a Professor of Quantity Surveying, with over two-decades of lecturing, research, and administrative experience.
He has served twice as Ag. Head of Quantity Surveying Department (2016-2018 & 2022-2024) and Acting Dean of the Faculty between 2018 -2020 and currently the first substantive Dean of Faculty of Environmental Sciences. His areas of research interest include Cost Management of Building Services, Building Information Modelling Adoption and Sustainable Development.
He has to his credit over fifty publications in reputable outlets covering journals, edited conference proceedings and chapters in books. He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors and a fully Registered Quantity Surveyor with Quantity Surveyors Registration Board of Nigeria. He was the Secretary Professional Development and Library for the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors between 2017 – 2021, and the Chairman of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, Kwara State Chapter between 2019- 2021. He is married with children.
