The Faculty of Environmental Sciences was established in 2013 to prepare students in Architecture, Estate Management, Quantity Surveying, Surveying and Geoinformatics as well as Urban and Regional Planning programmes. The Pioneer Dean of the faculty was Professor N.B. Tanimowo of Urban and Regional Planning Department. The faculty started with a total of two hundred (200) students and currently about one thousand, eight hundred and seventy-five students (1875) students enrolled in various programmes in the faculty. The faculty commenced postgraduate programmes (PhD, MSc and PGD in all the programmes) in 2022/2023 academic sessions.
